Can a rotted board ceiling be replaced with PVC?

Yes. We take out the rotted boards, check the timber frame above and install PVC panels with matching trims. If parts of the frame need replacing, that's shown as its own item in the quotation.

How is a PVC ceiling quotation worked out?

We work from four things: the ceiling dimensions, the panels and trims you choose, the site condition and any additional work. Each appears on its own line. A per-piece price alone does not compare like for like, because trims and installation count too.

Is a PVC ceiling suitable for a car porch or walkway?

Yes. PVC is waterproof, so it suits covered outdoor spaces like car porches and walkways that catch rain spray and humidity. We suggest a finish that suits the house front and close the edges with matching trims.

Can PVC ceiling be used in a bathroom or kitchen?

PVC ceiling or plaster ceiling: which should I choose?

PVC suits wet and outdoor areas because it is waterproof and wipes clean. Plaster gives a seamless flat look indoors but does not cope well with moisture. A common mix is PVC for the porch and bathroom, plaster for the rest.

Is a PVC ceiling the same as a plastic ceiling?

PVC is a type of plastic, so the two names usually mean the same thing. Our panels are rigid hollow-core PVC strips, 200 mm wide, with a woodgrain or plain face.
